Description
Transmission Adapter Kit for Mopar Big Block (361, 383, 400, 413, 426, 440) to Chevy V8 Automatic Powerglide / TH350 / TH400 / 700R4 and 200-4R transmissions.
NOTES: The adapter kit is available for either the 6 bolt or 8 bolt crankshaft.
The adapter plate is NOT available with ears that protrude from the sides. Modification of the bellhousing will be necessary.
We can supply the needed modified starter. Uses the Mopar 2 bolt Gear Reduction “mini” starter in stock location.
Package includes Complete instructions for this Mopar Big Block to Chevy kit, not only for installing the adapter, but also for modification of the starter.
We do not supply information regarding engine or transmission installation in to specific frames, bodies, etc.
This is the responsibility of the customer and care should be taken to address the issues of motor and transmission mounts, driveline, body and frame clearance, gear ratios, etc. BEFORE the purchase of the engine to transmission adapter.
