4L80E repeated solenoid B code 86 or 87, no 3rd or 4th gear, new springs for the 1-2 and 2-3 shift valves. (2 springs)
4L80E repeated solenoid B code 86 or 87, no 3rd or 4th gear can be caused by low signal pressure to shift solenoids A and B. This new spring kit recalibrates the springs for the 1-2 and 2-3 shift valves. This is not a fix for leaking solenoids or leaking seals in the solenoid signal circuit or actuator feed limit circuit.
