The Sonnax heavy duty forward sun gear 76612A-12 directly replaces all 30-tooth sun gears in Ford AODE 2.40/1.46 ratio gear sets. Manufactured from 9310 alloy steel, this gear is significantly tougher and stronger than OE or other aftermarket sun gears and is the perfect option for demanding applications. The Sonnax heavy duty forward sun gear 76612A-12 is identical to the sun gear in the Sonnax Smart-Tech® direct clutch drum and shaft kit 76656-02K. This kit features a high-strength direct drum and an integrated intermediate stub shaft.
