Ford vehicles equipped with 4R70E, 4R70W, 4R75E, 4R75W and AODE units may have delayed engagements and burnt Forward clutches due to low line pressure. This can be even more pronounced in heavy-duty or performance vehicles. Sonnax elevated pressure regulator valve kit 76948-12K provides a modified valve and stronger spring to raise base line pressure, eliminating these concerns.
