#27X-K042. This 4L60-E PWM Power-Valve is designed to help supply more converter charge oil to the fill circuit when the unit is in lock-up. This valve does not change lock-up operation but does supply more oil to an already over extended circuit. This valve can be used in any 4L60-E (PWM) unit 1995 and up but is extremely beneficial with 1998 through 2001 units that have an EC3 computer strategy. This problem solver package works to eliminate the 1870 code problem in most applications. The transmission doesn't need to be removed to install this part. Everything can be done from inside the pan. The valve goes inside of the pump. The valve body will need to come off so you can drill a hole in the separator plate. Cost $39.00 |

Regular Valve #8S. The OE. valve will wear the end of the valve land and the edge surface of the valve body bore. This wear causes a loss of line pressure and boost response. Our valve extends the problem land area where the wear occurs and moves the working area more into the valve body bore that has not worn.
