Many years back (circa 2014), RevMax began using billet valve bodies in their 68RFE 1000 series transmissions. These units featured on-demand lockup and the rigidity of a billet channel casting. Initially offered for a short time, the market wasn’t ready to invest in what was seen as an unneeded upgrade, so the project was shelved in 2015.

The original 1” solid version was a game changer—perfectly flat, rigid, and smooth. However, it couldn’t be used with some aftermarket or stock pans. Customers asked for a new design that retained the original’s benefits but worked universally. After 8 months and 6 revisions, the V2.0 was born!

V2.0 remains 1” thick but includes precision cutouts for compatibility with stock filters and pans. Unlike other designs with shallow worm tracks, RevMax’s full-depth tracks eliminate issues in critical circuits like the combined vent track and torque converter clutch signal circuit—preventing trouble codes like P1776 and P0871.

This plate works with ANY aftermarket or stock transmission pan. No modifications or special filters needed—just install like a stock channel plate and go!
