This Genuine Allison Upgrade kit includes the following all new:

  • (1) Brand new oil pan – 4 7/16" deep at the drain plug end
  • (1) Internal sump filter (White) for deep pan applications
  • (1) External spin-on cooler filter by PPE (see below for details)
  • (1) Bonded rubber-metal pan gasket
  • (3) Gallon jugs of OE Allison-specified Transynd TES 668 Synthetic Transmission Fluid

PPE Double-Deep External Spin-on Cooler Filter

Stock spin-on transmission filters come up short.

PPE recognized the need for better filtration for the hard-working Allison 1000 and 2000 transmissions, so a superior filter was developed which addresses limitations of the standard "shorty filter".

Inside the PPE Double-Deep Spin-On Filter is 2.72 times more filter media surface area. This increased surface area allows improved fluid flow and filtering. The PPE Double-Deep Filter actually traps particles down to 15 microns—half the size of what the standard spin-on filter catches. These improvements help create a cleaner flow of oil to vital internal components, resulting in smooth, more responsive shifts.

Castrol TranSynd 668 Fluid

Castrol TranSynd 668 is a premium, full-synthetic automatic transmission fluid specifically formulated for Allison Transmission® on-highway automatic transmissions.

TranSynd 668 provides oxidative stability, anti-wear performance, and friction durability, as well as TES 668™ specification differentiators such as extended anti-shudder durability and extended clutch friction durability.

This fluid features an Allison TES 668 approval. The TES 668 spec is fully backwards compatible for TES 295® applications, but is not backwards compatible for TES 468™ applications.
