5R110W TorqShift Case Vent Relocation Kit - TransGo 5R110W-VENT

2003 and later Ford trucks and vans equipped with the 5R110W automatic transmission often develop a leak from the vent when hot. As the miles accrue on these transmissions, pump surface distortion sets in and allows line pressure to bleed over in the vent circuit which creates the leak.

This kit was designed to relocate the vent away from the normal cross leaks within the pump while still allowing for a functional vent. The parts included with this kit allows you to reroute the vent circuit away from the line pressure circuit, thus correcting the hot vent leak. It’s a quick and economical way to stop the vent leak without having to machine or replace the pump assembly.
