In Ford 4R70E, 4R70W, 4R75E and 4R75W transmissions used for heavy-duty or towing applications, soft shifts and 1-2 slips are common. This happens when the OE 1-2 accumulator springs weaken, break, or are not calibrated to withstand the demands of heavy-duty use.

  • Specially designed inboard and outboard accumulator springs provide a firmer and more responsive 1-2 upshift, ensuring optimal performance even under heavy loads
  • Stronger-than-OE springs enhance transmission durability and reliability.

Provides firmer shifts in heavy duty/towing applications. Only use the two springs included in this kit. Some OE applications have a blue inner spring that is NOT used with this kit.
