#SW42, 4L60E Tail Housing Conversion Kit with Adapter Plate.

This kit is used for Early 4L60E 4 bolt tail housings to adapt to a Late 6 bolt model transmission.
Allowing both the mechanical and electronic options to be used.
Fits 1998 to 2004 4L60E transmissions.
The kit allows a mechanical speedometer to be used as well as the electronic speed sensor for the computer output.
These are custom made and we will need to know rear axle ratios and rear tire diameter for the mechanical gearing.
This Tail Housing Conversion Kit adapter is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum.
The housing, which can be used for 4 bolt kits, is cast new.
Adapter is heat-treated to T6 specs, and is machined to use a GM mechanical speedometer gear housing and VSS parts.
