Many OE supports in Chrysler 46RE / 46RH / 47RE / 47RH / 48RE units do not seal well against the case which leads to reduced lube flow to the gear train and consumption of pump volume. Additionally, Sonnax piston retainer kit 22754N-01K maximizes gear train durability by preventing the loss of lube oil between support and case.
- This unique design features two sets of I.D. and O.D. grooves repositioned at key load areas to improve oil delivery
- O-Ring improves case seal and prevents loss of lube oil

Cause:
Excessive clearance between the overdrive piston retainer and intermediate shaft reduces lube flow to the gear train.
Correction:
Restore lube oil and prevent repeat failure by installing Sonnax piston retainer kit.
