Description
48RE / 47RE / 46RE / 727 Dodge Slip in Band, 1962-Up, Red Lined.
The 727 – 48RE Dodge Slip-In Kickdown Band can be changed without pulling the transmission.
After removing the old band, the new band will fit into place around the drum with some finesse, starting on the passenger side of the transmission.
You will need to make sure that the machined (curved) end of the band faces the front of transmission.
Note that it will be a tight fit when installing the band.
