The 6 small oval shaped holes in the flexplate are flexplate balance holes not motor balance holes.

Fits 1968 to 1980 302 motors, 1965 on 289 motors and 1969 to 1997 351W motors with a 28-ounce imbalance factor. Will work with a C4 that has a full size converter, C6 and AOD transmissions.14.23″ OD / 164 Teeth. This flexplate doesn’t fit an early Mustang with a C4 transmission that has a smaller converter.
