#DNJ-DRF1, 45RFE / 545RFE & first design 68RFE pump plate corrects / improves lube problems
DNJ has redesigned the pump plate to correct and improve some lube problems that some of the OEM plates faced. This one plate, that fits all 45RFE / 545RFE and first design 68RFE transmissions, makes it possible to not replace the pump, which previously was the only way to get a replacement plate.
This is an updated version of the pump plate, the early 45RFE’s pump plate would dump cooler oil into the pan causing the transmission to overheat.
This new updated version restores cooler flow and allows the transmission to operate at lower temperatures.
