48RE Transfer Case Support and Mount, 2003-On, Adapt-A-Case TC48REAC. (Dodge Diesel 4×4)
The 2003-up Dodge Diesel 4WD trucks, equipped with the 48RE, have problems with cracking the overdrive housing.
Their transfer cases, mated to the overdrive housing, weigh about 80lbs but have nothing in place to support them.
The #TC48REAC from Adapt-A-Case solves this problem!
A specially designed steel bracket installs in place of the lower two bolts (longer bolts supplied), and includes the common GM universal mount.
#TC48REAC includes a machined steel spacer / washer (fits below the skid plate), and has a tapered groove to clear OEM stamping.
The 48RE Transfer Case Support Kit includes everything pictured here to allow for quick and easy installation!
OEM skid plate is required, but most Dodge 4X4 trucks are equipped with this from the factory.
OEM skid plates usually have a pre-existing hole as if it were made for this!
