6L80E Drive Shells with TIG Welded Shafts.
In our extensive testing with the 6L80 transmissions we have observed repeated shaft failure at the joint between the shaft and drum.
Reinforcement of the area will eliminate the problem. We TIG weld the two shafts in this weak area.
Sold as a set of two.
