Description
The manual valve in 4L80E transmissions can break or wear the valve body because of its excessive length and thin stem diameters. Sonnax offers an upgrade, redesigned manual valve kit, 34994-16K, which has lengthened spools with exhaust slots for increased bore support and increased stem diameters. It’s common for the AFL filter to blow out and crack and for the OE end plug to leak, allowing AFL oil leakage. Sonnax has provided a replacement end plug to ensure proper hydraulic control.
