Additionally, if any of the overlap regulator valve bushings are worn, this too can cause flare up complaints on any of the up or downshifts. The lube pressure regulator valve is another area of concern that has a two-fold effect when wear occurs. The first one is a loss of lubrication pressure and secondly it causes a loss in torque converter apply pressure.
