#12DG2-S. Short Shaft Jeep/Dodge Speedometer Driven Gear.
These gears are used with most Jeep and Dodge truck electronic speed sensors for the speedometer.
You can increase or decrease the number of teeth depending on tire size to make your speedometer more accurate.
Once you change gears, the sensor needs to be indexed according to the new tooth count.
The drive gear has normally has 13 teeth and is machined into the output shaft.
These are the later model type with a short shaft for electronic speed sensors.

Please do not acquire a replacement gear based on color alone.
